This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing civil engineering and construction business where you'll play a key role in developing and managing programmes that ensure successful project delivery across the UK. What you'll be doing: Developing and managing detailed construction programmes that are realistic, contractually compliant, and reflect on-site progress. Producing and maintaining NEC3/NEC4 programmes for submission and acceptance, updating them in line with contractual requirements. Monitoring site progress, identifying potential delays, and supporting the team in implementing mitigation strategies. Preparing and reviewing compensation events, variations, and evidence to support contractual claims. Providing programme input to assist commercial teams with cost and resource planning. Maintaining clear communication between site teams, management, and clients, ensuring transparent progress updates. Creating tender programmes and supporting the preconstruction team with competitive submissions. Building strong working relationships with stakeholders and project teams across multiple sites. Supporting junior planners and contributing to a collaborative, innovative planning function. What we're looking for: Experience as a Planner, or background in engineering, site, or project management (essential). Understanding of construction contracts, ideally NEC3/NEC4 (desirable). Experience using ASTA Powerproject (preferred but not essential). Strong communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills. Experience across civil engineering or infrastructure projects (desirable). Willingness to travel between regional offices and project sites. Why apply?
