Permanent Veterinary Nurse - Halesowen, West Midlands

We are recruiting on behalf of a small animal hospital in Halesowen for a Permanent Veterinary Nurse to join their team. This role is full or part time, along with 1 in 6 weekends with time off in lieu. There will be no OOH work or on-call duties.
This is a mobile nurse role and would involve providing cover across all five practice sites within the area. Therefore it is ideal for an RVN who enjoys a varied caseload within differnent working environments. It offers a great opportunity for an RVN to continue to develop their clinical skills and knowledge. They will have exposure to more complex cases whilst working alongside certificate holding surgeons.

About the role
12. Your duties will involve inpatient care, assisting the vets in surgeries, inpatient care, nurse consultations, stock control,triaging patients and laboratory work.
13. The Nurse will be responsible for training and mentoring student nurses.
14. The role will involve working across 6 practice sites and is classed as a roving role.
15. You will play a vital role in promoting preventative health care and educating clients in this area
16. There will be no OOH work as the practice understands the importance of a good work-life balance

Package
26. Salary: Up to £29, pro rata, commensurate to experience
