Receptionist Vacancy – 16 hours
Eglinton Medical Centre is located in the South side of Glasgow. We have approximately
2400 patients. We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, hardworking and reliable receptionist to join our Practice team.
The post will be for 16 hours per week based in Eglinton Practice. Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 2-6pm. Flexibility is also required to cover any annual leave or sickness.
We are looking for someone that has good communication skills, is a team player and has good IT skills. You must be able to work under pressure and adapt in a busy and unpredictable environment whilst following patient confidentiality at all times. Preferable experience in working in a GP surgery before or even a customer facing role. Full training will be given to the right candidate.
The role will include:
· Signposting patients via telephone or at reception.
· Processing prescriptions and mail.
· Arranging and cancelling appointments.
· Dealing with secondary care and pharmacy queries.
· Scanning and filling of mail.
· Sending off referrals for GPs.
· Any other admin duties that are outlined by Practice Manager.
Salary will be negotiable depending on experience.
