This is an excellent opportunity for a Continuous Improvement Engineer to join a forward-thinking engineering team, playing a key role in driving operational excellence across the business. Youll act as a true change agentleading improvement initiatives, enhancing manufacturing processes, and delivering measurable gains in efficiency, quality, and cost. Key Responsibilities Lead and deliver continuous improvement and innovation projects across the site Analyse existing manufacturing processes and implement improvements to drive efficiency and quality Reduce waste and non-value-added activities (NVA), improving standard times Support and lead problem-solving activities within production, delivering sustainable solutions Design and improve tooling and processes using CAD systems Participate in Process and Design FMEA activities Ensure robust documentation control and adherence to internal and industry standards Provide technical support and data-driven analysis to support decision-making Contribute to capital investment and wider engineering projects What Were Looking For Strong background in continuous improvement within a manufacturing environment Practical experience with Lean methodologies (DMAIC, Six Sigma, etc.) Proven ability to analyse data and identify opportunities for improvement Experience using CAD (e.g. SolidWorks or similar) Knowledge of ERP systems (e.g. Sage, Syspro) is advantageous Excellent problem-solving and communication skills Ability to influence and drive change across teams Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment Qualifications & Experience HNC/HND in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering (or equivalent) Degree in Mechanical Engineering (preferred) Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt (highly desirable) Project management experience Why Apply?
