CLASS 2 DRIVERS NEEDED ON DAY SHIFT
Shifts Available :
HGV 2 -
Day shift -
06:30am - 15:00pm
Pay Rate: £12.65 PAYE per hour
Shifts are Monday to Friday.
Responsibilities:
1. Drive Class 2 Goods Vehicles (HGV's) with tankers.
2. Transport refuse and recycling as part of your duties.
3. Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while handling materials.
4. Use in-cab technology and mobile devices as directed.
5. Carry out refuse and recycling collections daily, with skills and knowledge of all machinery aspects of the job.
6. Undertake all duties in a professional manner deploying safe lifting and handling techniques appropriate to articles left for removal.
7. Maintain accurate records of driving hours and activities.
8. Conduct pre-trip inspections and ensure the vehicle is roadworthy, before and after use.
9. Collaborate with team members and follow delivery schedules.
Requirements:
10. Valid Class 2 driving license with fewer than 6 penalty points.
11. Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC).
12. Ideally a min of 1 year experience driving
13. Willingness to take an alcohol and drugs test during the induction process and on a continuing basis when working on shifts.
14. Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
