Job Description
* Support the Accounting & Finance department in day-to-day operations.
* Maintain accurate and timely financial records.
* Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts.
* Conduct regular bank reconciliations.
* Process invoices, ensuring all costs are accurately allocated.
* Prepare VAT returns and assist with audits.
* Communicate effectively with other departments to resolve finance-related queries.
* Adhere to all company policies and regulations concerning finance.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Accounts Assistant should have:
* A degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
* Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
* Familiarity with accounting software.
* Excellent numeracy skills and attention to detail.
* The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Strong communication skills for liaising with other departments.
