We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and passionate Night Receptionist to join our highly successful hotel team.

We have a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic receptionist working in one of our hotels part of the University of Edinburgh Hospitality & Events collection, who display a positive can-do attitude and enjoy working within a diverse team. The successful candidate will be based at one of our receptions located at The Scholar; The Scott or KM Hotel & Apartments, however, flexibility is required to support our other receptions.

In this role you will:
1. Be an ambassador for our hotel collection and rebranded products.
2. Continuously look to improve our standards and deliver world-class hospitality.
3. Become an integral part of our existing reception team with a desire to succeed in delivering our values.
4. Use your upselling skills to maximise sales opportunities.
To succeed in this busy role, you will need strong multi-tasking skills, excellent commercial awareness, and a real eye for detail. You will have experience in a busy front-facing customer service environment; a hospitality background and deal with a multitude of customers, including students in a professional manner. Flexibility to work across weekends is also required.
