Governance and Administration Assistant - Manchester Salary: The Governance and Administration Assistant (ExCo and SMCR) will support our Risk function, to deliver high-quality governance support and administration. You will be required to manage the end-to-end administration of our governance forums. This includes, the scheduling, collation and distribution of meeting packs and other materials, producing high quality, proportionate and timely minutes and maintaining key records (such as action logs). Outside of supporting formal governance meetings, the role holder will also be responsible for facilitating the administrative processes relating to the Senior Managers and Certification Regime (SMCR). This will involve liaising with Executive Management to ensure that key records are kept up-to-date and that specified procedures are being followed in a timely manner. Key Responsibilities Supporting the planning and organising, of governance meetings.Providing administrative support to governance processes, including preparing agendas, preparing and publishing meeting packs, minuting and managing the actions captured during the meetings. Support the administration and maintenance of the board software package, Diligent Boards.Supporting the internal and external audit processes, including collation and submission of documents.Supporting the planning and organising of key internal meetings, such as strategy days, leadership development and workshops with external providers. Owning the SMCR activities calendar and ensuring that all stakeholders know what is expected of them and when.
