Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our team. As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to children in our nursery. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young children.
Duties:
* Create a safe and nurturing environment for children in the nursery
* Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and educational programs
* Observe and monitor children's development, behaviour, and progress
* Provide personal care, including feeding, nappy, and assisting with hygiene routines
* Collaborate with parents and guardians to ensure open communication and address any concerns or questions
* Maintain accurate records of each child's daily activities and progress
* Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure the well-being of all children
* Assist with maintaining a clean and organized nursery environment
Skills:
* Experience working with children in a childcare or educational setting
* Fluent in English, both spoken and written
* Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
* Ability to effectively manage a group of children and maintain discipline
* Strong leadership skills to guide and inspire children's learning
* Excellent communication skills to interact with children, parents, and colleagues
Requirements:
* at least a level 2 or 3 in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred
* Must have a genuine passion for working with young children
* Reliable transportation to commute to the nursery
