Full time permanent £34,000 - £37,000 DOE + Benefits
Monday – Friday 8.30am - 5pm
We are looking to appoint an experienced Brand/Content Manager here at our Support Centre in Macclesfield. Someone with the energy and drive to generate new ideas, produce content and drive campaigns through from start to finish.
Metro Rod work with the likes of Tesco, Marks and Spencer, Mitie, Clarion, Axa, Wetherspoons and many more in the FM, Social Housing, Property Management, Retail, Industrial and Leisure sectors. Despite having been around for over 40 years, we are a fast-growing and dynamic business and part of an ever-expanding group Franchise Brands.
Founded in 1983, Metro Rod and its sister company Metro Plumb are leading providers of drain clearance and maintenance services delivered on a largely reactive basis. The services are provided by over 60 franchisees with geographical coverage across the UK. We’ve been clearing and unblocking drains for more than thirty years and we’re proud of our reputation for quality service and customer satisfaction. Major companies and leading high street names trust us to deal with all their regular drain maintenance and we’ll bring the same high standards of service to tackle your drain blockage.
Within the Waste & Water Services Division of Franchise Brands, is also Willow Pumps and Filta. Two expanding businesses that focus on sewage pumps and commercial kitchen solutions. Together, the brands provide a complete one-stop shop for keeping water and waste flowing.
What does it entail?
This role will be a key figure in our Marketing Team.
Reporting to the Group Marketing Manager for Water and Waste Services (W&WS), you will manage projects and campaigns across all brands within the W&WS division, including Metro Rod, Metro Plumb, Filta UK and Willow Pumps.
Producing quality lead generation focused content and ideas across all marketing channels from concept to distribution and analysis, as well as conducting competitor and industry research to ensure that all brands are staying up to date with the latest trends.
You will be a key point of contact for Franchisees, and will communicate effectively to build strong working relationships. Some travel on occasion is required to assist with this.
What do we look for?
The successful candidate will have both traditional print and also digital activity experience.
* Time-served marketing experience
* In-depth understanding of the marketing mix, in particular, digital marketing channels and how these can be used to drive leads
* Knowledge of PR and how to make it work for SEO
* Working knowledge of WordPress
* Working knowledge of SEO and PPC
* 5 years’ experience in a marketing role
* Ability to adapt content to suit multiple marketing channels and platforms
* Strong communication skills, in person, on the phone and via email
* Ability to simplify marketing and remove jargon to communicate effectively with key stakeholders and the franchise network
* Experience using email marketing systems
* Full UK driving license
