Overview
We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and a passion for repairing and maintaining various types of machinery and vehicles. As a Mechanic, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that all equipment operates efficiently and safely, contributing to the overall productivity of our operations.
Responsibilities
Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and vehicles to ensure optimal performance.
Diagnose mechanical issues using appropriate tools and techniques.
Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to carry out repairs and maintenance tasks.
Maintain accurate records of repairs, services performed, and parts used.
Collaborate with team members to identify areas for improvement in equipment functionality.
Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Skills
Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools relevant to mechanical work.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various mechanical systems.
Driving Licence
An MOT licence is preferred, but we’re happy to support the right candidate in obtaining one.
Ideally some formal vehicle mechanic qualifications
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
