National Account Manager - International
The Role: Our client, Fentiman's have an exceptional opportunity to join their international team as a National Account Manager, representing their outstanding range of soft drinks, mixers, and tonics to some of the world's most exciting territories including Australia, Southeast Asia & Thailand to name a few.
While this role has a real focus on managing and growing an existing account base of distribution partners worth in the region of £1 million annually, and in this aspect of the role you will have all the duties you would expect to undertake as a National Account Manager such as developing and maintaining trade agreements, creating annual growth plans, managing A&P budgets and devising and implementing JBP's, there is also the exciting element of the role that will lead you to building relationships with potential new distribution partners in territories not yet established.
With a brand name as strong as Fentiman's, the majority of new business prospects you will be reaching out to will be very warm and more than likely have made initial contact with the business, but if you feel there is an opportunity within a region or territory that is yet undiscovered you will be strongly encouraged to go after it!
While these customers are situated in some very far off corners of the world, the requirement to travel further than Europe will be rare. Most of the relationships will be developed over virtual meetings, and face to face meetings at quarterly trade shows in London, with some travel to Europe.
The role will be predominantly home based, so you can be situated anywhere in the UK, however you will need to travel to Head Office quarterly for 2-day team events to ensure collaboration is regularly kept on top of, and everyone's goals are aligned.

The Person:
To be considered for this exciting opportunity you must have:
· Either prior experience in an international role managing national distribution partners or…
· Currently be working with as a National Account Manager within the UK grocery channel or even an NAE looking for a step up!
· Having worked within the FMCG sector within a blue-chip organisation is highly advantageous!
· Demonstrable track record in developing and maintaining trade agreements, creating annual growth plans, managing A&P budgets, and devising and implementing JBP's.
· Be excited about the prospect of managing an account base of international distributors.
· Have a genuine passion for working with the Fentiman's brand!
