We, TLT, are looking to speak to Contract Conveyancing Paralegals to join our team in Manchester. You will join our Lender Sales team, which deals with the sale of properties that have been taken into possession. You will be responsible for managing your own caseload of conveyancing files. As a Conveyancer, your day-to-day responsibilities include:
* Managing your own caseload of conveyancing files from opening to completion, referring legal issues to the Team Manager when necessary.
* Handling telephone inquiries professionally, taking detailed notes, and referring legal matters to the Technical Case Handler or Team Manager as appropriate.
* Regularly updating clients and asset managers on case progress.
* Participating in client visits with the management team and contributing confidently to meetings and training sessions.
* Problem-solving case issues and discussing actions with senior team members.
* Staying updated on changes in regulations, policies, procedures, and technical aspects of conveyancing, and sharing knowledge with colleagues.
Operating from our offices in Bristol, Manchester, Glasgow, and Belfast, we have specialist expertise in each UK jurisdiction. We serve banks, building societies, secured lenders, and third-party services. We tailor our processes to deliver the best outcomes for lenders and their customers, ensuring fair treatment and proper handling of vulnerabilities.
Previous conveyancing experience is essential, including:
* Title checking for freehold, leasehold, and shared ownership properties.
* Drafting and providing detailed advice and solutions to clients.
* Demonstrating empathy and a good telephone manner with clear diction.
* Strong numeracy skills.
* Excellent spelling and grammar.
* Proactivity and attention to detail.
