Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Part-Time Finance Assistant to support our finance team with day-to-day financial operations. Working 20 hours per week, the successful candidate will assist with bookkeeping, invoicing, reconciliations, and general financial administration. This role is ideal for someone looking for a flexible part-time position in a dynamic and growing organisation.
Responsibilities
* Process supplier invoices.
* Assist in the preparation of customer invoices and ensure timely follow-up on outstanding payments.
* Perform bank reconciliations and assist with monthly account reconciliations.
* Support the month-end and year-end closing processes.
* Maintain accurate financial records and filing systems (physical and/or digital).
* Help prepare financial reports and assist with audits.
* Liaise with vendors, customers, and internal teams regarding financial queries.
* Assist with budget tracking and expense monitoring.
* General administrative support to the finance team.
Requirements
* Previous experience in a finance, accounting, or bookkeeping role.
* Familiarity with accounting software.
* Strong Excel skills and general proficiency in Microsoft Office.
* High attention to detail and strong numerical accuracy.
* Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks effectively.
* Good communication skills and a proactive attitude.
