Requisition ID 62909 Position Type FT Permanent Workplace Arrangement LI-Remote About the role We are looking for an experienced HR Professional to join our busy team and support our manufacturing sites in Portadown (NI), Coleraine (NI) and Osset (UK). We are looking for someone to be a champion for change and lead the people agenda in driving business change initiatives across Kerry Dairy Ireland whilst identifying opportunities for business enhancement programmes. The ideal candidate will have a HR related qualification and a minimum of 5 years’ experience, ideally in similar environment. The location for this role is home based in Northern Ireland, however the successful candidate must be free to travel to the above listed sites when required. We are setting up a HR Services Hub in our Headquarters in Tralee, Co. Kerry to service our sites and businesses across Ireland, the UK and Northern Ireland. This Services Hub will provide comprehensive solutions for employees, managers and other business partners through HR technology and common processes. The employee population for this client group is in the region of 1600 ranging from the most senior executives in the business to manufacturing sites. Liaise with HR Leadership and functional/business leads to drive out the Talent Reviews/related action plans across the relevant business areas, building solid plans to ensure “best in class” talent capability and related development. Proactively drive, support and track employee engagement initiatives with a view to consistently capture and action feedback from respective business groups. Align all initiatives with a broader view and closely partner with stakeholders. Implementation of targeted people related business initiatives to drive organisational effectiveness and sustainable improved business performance. Drive calibration around reward decisions through managing performance agenda in a robust and consistent manner and ensuring appropriate connection is made between reward and performance at all levels in the organisation. Ensure managers are equipped with the necessary skills to do their jobs efficiently and effectively through leadership/capability/coaching support. Work with senior leaders and managers to develop and implement people strategies that align with organizational goals. Provide guidance on employee issues, manage conflicts, and promote a supportive and inclusive work environment. Contribute to the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulations and promoting best practices. What do I need to be successful? These include HR or related qualification or equivalent work experience. A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role/environment. The ability to communicate effectively and build relationships with employees and management. Ability to develop HR initiatives that support overall business strategy. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including active listening. Ability to build strong relationships, foster trust, and navigate complex interpersonal dynamics. Skill in coaching leaders, facilitating change, and mediating discussions. Sensitivity to the economic, political, and social environment impacting the business. Expert on Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with SAP HRM. Possess excellent leadership and communication skills – credible at senior level and ability to challenge the status quo.
