At La Maternelle Family Childcare we are keen to employ the ‘right person’. The right person can be qualified or unqualified, experienced or in-experienced. Personality, enthusiasm and ambition are the most important qualities within our practitioners.
The role is 7.30am – 6.00pm with a 45 minute lunch break, and a 15 minute break, which can be taken in our cosy and well equipped staff room which includes a Nespresso coffee machine, microwave, kettle, toaster, tea, coffee,milk, hot chocolate, staff wellbeing resources (colouring books, fidget toys) and added extras throughout the year. The contract is four days per week with a set day off to be able to create a positive work life balance.
All new recruits will have access to our comprehensive internal training program. We place a lot of time and emphasis on staff training and consistently support practitioners to further develop their knowledge and understanding. Once staff have completed our personalized, thorough induction process, all practitioners are encouraged to complete a Level 3 Qualification alongside working and earning a full time wage.
We are enthusiastic about progression - all practitioners are hired with the belief that they will grow within their role and develop into Senior positions within the Nursery. We are passionate about ensuring all practitioners have the opportunity and support to reach their full potential.
