The Mount ward is a Medically Optimised for Discharge ward and it is a predominantly Nurse led unit. It is a busy and dynamic 22 bedded with 4 bedded bays and 2 side rooms with extra 2 beds for escalation. We deliver high quality effective and compassionate health care to the patients. We are responsible for the provision of competent professional nursing care to meet with patient's needs before they get discharge. You will be welcomed into a friendly team who is committed to providing a high standard of individualised care for all our patients.
Main duties of the job

We work closely with all members of the multi-disciplinary team in a challenging and rewarding environment, and you will be well supported by the senior nursing team led by our Clinical Matron. You will have the opportunity to have regular 1:1's with senior members of the team to support you in your new role. You will have excellent communication skills, have a caring and compassionate nature, and be supported to learn and develop new clinical and leadership skills within your role.
