Science Technician – Secondary School (Near Taunton)

Are you an organised and enthusiastic individual with a passion for supporting science education? We are seeking a Science Technician to join a thriving secondary school near Taunton. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in supporting teaching and learning across Biology, Chemistry and Physics.
Responsibilities include:
* Preparing, setting up and clearing away practical equipment and resources.
* Supporting teachers and students during science lessons where required.
* Maintaining laboratories, equipment and materials in line with health & safety guidelines.
* Ensuring accurate record keeping and stock control.
* Contributing to a safe, engaging and well-organised learning environment.
Requirements:
* Previous experience as a science technician (school or laboratory setting) is desirable but not essential – full training can be provided.
* Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Enhanced DBS required.
