HGV Technician (DAYS) - Well Established Commercial Rental Company in Manchester
Working for a large, well established company with excellent training and progression opportunities, all paid for by the company! Our client is a very well established commercial rental company based in Manchester with other sites located in the UK. They are currently looking to add an experienced HGV Technician to their ever-growing team. If you are an experienced HGV Technician looking for a new challenge, please get in touch! The ideal candidate will have an NVQ Level 3/City and Guilds however time served of 3 years+ will be considered.
The HGV Technician will receive:
1. A basic salary of up to £42,700
2. OTE- £58,000 with annual pay rises.
3. 25 days annual leave, plus bank holidays.
4. Regular overtime offered at time and a half.
5. Training and professional development opportunities, paid for by the company.
Responsibilities of the successful HGV Technician:
6. Carry out routine inspections and services.
7. Testing Vehicles in a professional and safe manner.
8. Investigate and diagnose faults and report findings.
9. Carrying out repairs to the current manufacturer's standards.
Requirements of the HGV Technician:
10. Qualified to NVQ/City and Guilds Level 3 in HGV Mechanics or time served of 3 years + within the industry.
11. Knowledge of cranes or hydraulics, and experience of working on tippers or beaver tails would be advantageous.
There are alternating shifts for this HGV Technician role:
12. Week 1–07:00 to 15:30
13. Week 2–12:30-21:00
14. 1 in 3 Saturday mornings 08:00 to 12:00 (paid at overtime)
