Position: Food Technician (Term-Time)
Contract Duration: Immediate start until the end of July (with potential for extensions)
Hours of Work: 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM (with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break), Monday to Friday, term time only
As a Food Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Food Technology department. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Preparing Practical Sessions:
Set up and organise practical food preparation sessions for students.
2. Equipment Maintenance:
Ensure that kitchen equipment and utensils are clean, safe, and ready for use.
3. Ingredient Management:
Assist with stock control, ordering, and receiving deliveries of food supplies.
4. Health and Safety:
Adhere to health and safety guidelines during practical sessions.
5. Supporting Teaching Staff:
Collaborate with teachers to enhance students’ learning experiences.
Qualifications and Experience:
