We are currently seeking to recruit a Multiskilled Engineer to work with the Maintenance Manager in providing high-quality engineering support to ensure the continuous operation of plant and equipment. The role is hands-on and significantly impacts factory operations, focusing on breakdowns, repairs, PPM, and project work.

* Performs maintenance on office, control, and factory equipment, including conveyors, packing machines, metal detectors, and labellers.
* Focuses on bottleneck reliability and speed to drive line performance.
* Identifies improvement areas and implements solutions within line engineering processes.
* Installs plant, equipment, and services.
* Performs autonomous and preventative maintenance, recording work accurately.
* Adheres to systems of work and safety standards.
* Conducts equipment inspections to prevent contamination and ensure safety.
* Minimizes machine delays and downtime through effective maintenance.

* Maintains high standards and seeks process improvements.

* Ensures tasks are accurate, detailed, timely, and relevant.
* Prepares reports for Senior Leadership Team (SLT).

Skills & Knowledge:
* Practical experience in high-pressure environments.
* C&G or equivalent in Electrical Engineering.
* 17th edition IEE Regulations training (preferred).
* Experience in high-volume production, preferably in the food industry.
* PLC knowledge (Siemens, Omron, Telemec) (preferred).
* Experience with vacuum packing machines (advantageous).
* Welding (TIG) experience (advantageous).
* Ability to prioritize and work under pressure.
* Good interpersonal skills.
* Self-motivated and proactive.
* Ability to work independently and make decisions.
* Experience with steam and boiler systems (advantageous).
* Experience with scales, check weights, and labellers (advantageous).
