Protocol Education is recruiting an Unqualified Science Supply Teacher to support Science lessons in a well-established BS25 secondary school.
Looking to gain classroom experience without the pressure of planning? As an Unqualified Science Supply Teacher, you’ll supervise KS3 and KS4 Science classes, guide pupils through pre-set work, and keep learning on track.
The school is structured, calm and consistent, with clear behaviour systems that make classroom management straightforward. Pupils understand expectations, and SLT are visible and supportive.

What is the role?
As an Unqualified Science Supply Teacher, you will:
Supervise KS3 and KS4 classes during teacher absence (mainly Science)
Support pupils working through pre-set tasks
Maintain clear routines and calm classroom expectations
Encourage focus, effort and positive behaviour
Follow the school’s behaviour and safeguarding policies
You may also be asked to cover other subjects when needed. You are not responsible for planning or introducing new content.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
