Credit Controller - 6-month fixed term contract\n£26,900\n37 hours per week\nHybrid working - 2 days in office, 3 days at home\nWe are looking for a talented and driven individual to join our client’s dynamic team as a Credit Controller. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of a diverse accounts receivable portfolio and play a key role in driving efficient credit control processes across multiple regions.\nKey Responsibilities:\n * Manage a portfolio of accounts receivable, ensuring prompt payment and minimising aged debt\n * Take ownership of multiple regional ledgers, overseeing the day-to-day credit control cycle and contributing to an efficient order-to-cash process\n * Proactively contact customers, primarily by phone, to chase overdue payments and discuss account statuses\n * Collaborate with Sales teams to resolve queries and release orders, participating in monthly AR review meetings to support improved collection outcomes\n * Produce accurate account reconciliations and reporting for both internal and external stakeholders\n * Work closely with Cash Allocation and Finance teams to ensure audit compliance and support financial reporting requirements\n * Identify and implement process improvements within the Credit Control function\n * Support ongoing change initiatives aimed at enhancing efficiency and effectiveness across the team\nEssential Skills and Experience:\n * Prior experience in credit control or a finance-related role\n * Strong understanding of financial processes and customer account reconciliation\n * Highly organised, with the ability to manage and prioritise workloads effectively\n * Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written\n * Confident in building and maintaining strong working relationships across teams and with external stakeholders\n * Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and proactive\n * A collaborative team player with strong problem-solving abilities\n * Eager to contribute to continuous improvement and committed to personal and professional development
