Corina joined Sintons in September 2023 as a trainee solicitor in our Employment Department.
Experience:
* Corina holds a degree in Business Administration, MA in Human Resource Management and PgDip in Management.
* She attained distinction in the GDL (October 2022) and Accelerated LPC (July 2023), both at The University of Law.
* Corina has 20 years’ experience as a HR practitioner, primarily within the public sector. Most recently, Corina was HR Manager in a North-East local authority, with primary HR partnership responsibility for social services, education and corporate services.
* Her experience includes advising internal clients on a wide range of complex HR issues including managing absence, disciplinary, grievance and capability processes, conflict resolution, recruitment, redundancy, restructuring and TUPE.
* Corina is a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) and continues to support the CIPD branch in the Tees Valley in a voluntary capacity, having previously been Member Communications and Engagement Lead and Vice-Chair of the branch committee.
Outside of work, Corina enjoys spending time with her family, theatre and music, reading fiction and sings with a local choral society.
