Based in John Smith Pool, Airdrie your main task will be to assist our customers within this busy sports venue and ensure that they enjoy their visit. The customers’ safety, especially within the pool area, will be your main responsibility.
All candidates should either possess a RLSS National Pool Lifeguard Qualification, be working towards the completion of it or be required to undergo appropriate training to obtain the appropriate qualification. A variety of tasks will be undertaken in relation to the efficient operation of the venue including general cleaning duties, setting out equipment and preparation for events.
You will work as part of a team and must be a strong swimmer. You will have a pleasant manner, good communication skills and a helpful approach when dealing with our customers.
As a requirement of this post, the successful candidates must obtain Protection of Vulnerable Group (PVG) membership through Disclosure Scotland.
Work Pattern
27 hours x 3 posts
Week 1 - Monday to Thursday 10.30am to 4pm and Friday 10.30am to 3pm
Week 2 – Monday to Thursday 4pm to 9.30pm and Friday 2pm to 7.30pm
16 hours x 1 post
Saturday and Sunday 8.30am to 4.30pm
