What you’ll do on a typical day:
Carry out training of new employees, and daily operational tasks
* Assist and oversee van area procedure, ensuring all vans are completed by following the process and in a reasonable time manner
* Aid and assist with Warehouse Operatives’ development and continuous improvement
* Cover Supervisor’s duties during his absence
* Adhere to all of GXO Health & Safety policies at all times
* Physically demanding role which includes lifting and shifting of furniture
What you need to succeed at GXO:
Counterbalance is essential and PPT license is desirable
* Good communication skills, both verbal and written
* Expert in planning 12T and vehicles’ process
* Extensive experience in warehouse environment
* Ability to work under pressure on your own initiative in a continually changing and demanding environment
