The Temporary Accommodation Team is at the fore front of our response to the increased use of emergency accommodation with private providers.
The Temporary Accommodation Team has expanded over the last year and now manages significant numbers of temporary accommodation from our Bristol City Council Housing Stock.
As we enter year two of a planned programme to reduce the usage of private emergency accommodation, you will join the team to work alongside our current team leader to on board new units of accommodation and of course the homeless households who will occupy these units.
In addition the Temporary Accommodation Team also manages some specialist Supported Move on units for single clients.
If you have a strong interest in managing high quality temporary accommodation but also can bring with you an understanding of the support needs of homeless households then this is a role you can excel in.
You should bring with you experience in the fields of housing, hostel work to the care sector. With a strong ability to motivate and enable the best from your team. The role is based at our Family Supported hostel Windemere in Southmead.
You will be expected to work at various locations and visit many of our households at their temporary homes. There may be a degree of stand-by work to support our existing team leader.
