About the Role
Join NOV FGS Plymouth as a Team Leader and establish yourself as a key member of our Factory Management Team. You will be responsible and accountable for delivering quality products on time, in alignment with the production schedule. The role requires ensuring compliance with the FGS Plymouth Business Management System (BMS), achieving and exceeding quality, environmental, and health & safety requirements across the factory floor. You will lead a team, promote a safe working culture, drive productivity, and maintain high standards of workmanship, traceability, and operational discipline.

Key Responsibilities
5. Promote a safe working environment BMS Compliance (Policies, Procedures, SOI’s RAMS and COSHH etc). Safety Culture and Safe Systems of Work Factory Environment - Housekeeping Levels Risk Identification and STOP WORK (5x5)
6. Lead allocated teams in the delivery of works.
7. Drive works through the factory.
8. Maintains the standards of workmanship (quality).
9. Is responsible for maintaining traceability for all materials and associated paperwork (WIP and Quality Records).
10. Daily report on progress of works complete.
11. Ensure fully utilised and productive staff at all times.
12. Ensure that all Environmental and waste management controls are followed by your team.
13. Identify and report to Area Manager / Production Support Team on any HSE incidents or issues causing non-value added effort from the team.

14. Demonstrated ability to understand, evaluate, and apply technical information
15. Strong judgment and decision-making skills under tight deadlines
16. Effective time management and prioritisation capabilities
17. Commitment to process adherence and continuous improvement
18. Experience in leading factory or production teams in a similar setting
19. Excellent communication and reporting skills
