1:1 Teaching Assistant – Primary (Additional Needs)

The Education Specialists are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a pupil in Year 4 with additional needs. This rewarding role involves working closely with an individual student to help them access learning, build confidence, and achieve their full potential within a supportive school environment.

Key Responsibilities:
* Provide tailored 1:1 support to a primary school pupil with additional needs
* Assist in implementing personalised learning plans and strategies
* Support the child’s social, emotional, and academic development
* Work collaboratively with the class teacher, SENCO, and other professionals
* Promote a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment
* Monitor and record progress, providing feedback where required
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
* Experience working with children with additional needs (e.g. ASD, ADHD, SEMH, or learning difficulties)
* A patient, nurturing, and resilient approach
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
* A relevant qualification (e.g. Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant) is desirable but not essential
