Location: Cambridge
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time (40 hours per week) Every Other Weekend Off
Pay: £27,560 £37,688 per year (dependent on experience)
Entry-Level / Commis: Starting from £27,560
Chef de Partie: Mid-range, typically £30,000 £33,000
Senior / Head Pastry: £34,000 £37,688

Your Responsibilities
Depending on your level of experience, your duties will include:
Entry-Level / Commis
Preparing and baking pastry items to set recipes
Assisting with daily pastry and bakery production
Supporting senior chefs with setup and cleaning
Maintaining hygiene and allergen safety standards
Helping with stock rotation and waste control
Mid-Level / Chef de Partie
Running your own pastry section
Planning daily production and managing workflow
Contributing to menu development
Training junior team members
Managing allergen controls and documentation
Senior / Head Pastry Chef
Leading full pastry production across desserts, breads and sweet items
Planning menus alongside senior leadership
Managing stock, ordering and food cost targets
Ensuring consistent quality and presentation
Developing the pastry team through ongoing training
What Were Looking For
Commis: Basic pastry knowledge or NVQ Level 2/3
Chef de Partie: Previous pastry section experience in hotels, restaurants or contract catering
Senior: Senior: Proven leadership experience in a high-volume pastry setup
