The starting salary for this role is £12.60 per hour based on a 37 hour working week.

About the Organisation
Registered as The Royal School for the Blind, SeeAbility is one of the oldest disability charities in the UK. This year we are celebrating our 225th anniversary, having pioneered specialist support across multiple generations since 1799!
We specialise in supporting people who have learning disabilities, autism, complex needs, who may also have sight loss. Our support ranges from providing person-centred support across our many supported-living and residential care provisions. Furthermore, we provide specialist eye-care services to children and adults alike and assists people with a disability to find paid employment for the very first time.

What You'll Need:
7. Strong English communication skills (spoken & written)
8. Previous experience in a care/support setting
9. A valid manual UK driving licence
10. The legal right to live and work in the UK
What You'll Be Doing:
11. Supporting daily routines – from morning to bedtime
12. Planning fun, person-centred activities that boost wellbeing
13. Contributing to tailored support plans
14. Building therapeutic relationships that truly make a difference
15. Keeping accurate support notes – every detail matters
We're looking for compassionate, resilient support workers to empower young adults as they take the exciting step into their new homes.
You will be supporting individuals who have complex needs - including autism, learning disabilities, mental health challenges, and physical disabilities - helping them thrive in their new homes.
We are looking for experienced, patient and upbeat support workers who can bring energy and empathy to daily living, mobility and emotional wellbeing. If you're ready to be part of something meaningful, we'd love to hear from you!
We will need you to have experience in at least two of the following:
16. Autism and Learning Disabilities
17. Mental health needs
18. Physical and sensory disabilities
19. Positive Behaviour Support
