As part of the Lagan Specialist Contracting Group our missionis to provide Construction, Fit Out and Facilities Management solutions in an environment where people feel safe, secure and valued.Role OverviewAs a Commercial Heating Engineer, you will complete planned preventative maintenance tasks, emergency reactive calls and remedial tasks to a high standard across a wide client portfolio throughout Northern Ireland. You will act as a company representative to ensure company values and standards are always adhered to.What you'll doThe following reflect the main tasks associated with your position and are not intended to be exclusive or exhaustive:Carry out planned maintenance, response and remedial action to appliances and pipework in line with contract specification, industry guidelines and association with the company H&S policies.Confidence and knowledge in carrying out Mechanical works within a Commercial/Industrial setting including Hospitals, Factories, Colleges, Schools, Public and Buildings.Ensure timely submission of all service reports, time sheets and certification.Be part of a On Call Rota on a rotational basis.To be able to work within a team environment including alongside other contractors and disciplines.Ensure that all tasks are completed within the contractual time scales.Working safely in line with Health and Safety proceduresBasic electrical knowledge of mechanical systems.Any other reasonable duties required depending on the needs of the business.What youll bringAs a Commercial Heating Engineer your main skills and experience will include:Essential CriteriaA suitably qualified mechanical disciplineRelevant Commercial Gas qualifications and/or OFTECExperience of working on a broad range of boilers, burners and PumpsSound knowledge of domestic/commercial appliances.Excellent fault-finding and repair skillsExcellent communications skillsA solid understanding of administration proceduresExcellent attitude and approach to workAn ability to be open, honest and be able to work as part of a teamExcellent customer care and interpersonal skillsCommitment to quality and attention to detailA value driven approachFull driving licenseHow we'll reward youOf course, we ensure that our benefits package is competitive and allows you to enjoy your downtime.
