Early Years 1-to-1 Support Assistant

We're looking for a dedicated and nurturing 1-to-1 Support Assistant to work within our Early Years setting, providing tailored support to a child with additional needs. You’ll be part of a warm, collaborative team that puts children at the heart of everything we do.

What You’ll Be Doing:
* Supporting a child 1-to-1 as they grow in confidence, independence, and learning
* Adapting activities to meet their individual needs in line with the EYFS
* Working closely with teachers, SENCO, and outside professionals
* Encouraging communication, play, and emotional development
* Assisting with personal care as needed
* Observing and tracking progress to help the child thrive

✨ What We’re Looking For:
* Experience working with young children, ideally in an Early Years or SEND setting
* A genuine passion for helping every child reach their potential
* A calm, patient, and positive approach
* Knowledge of the EYFS and child development
* Relevant qualifications (e.g. Level 2 or 3 in Early Years/Childcare)
* Bonus: Experience with autism, speech & language needs, or behaviour support

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
