We are continuing to expand our printing department to meet ever-growing demand and are in need of Printer’s Assistants Here’s What You Can Expect To Be Doing: As a Print Assistant, you’ll play a key role in creating high-quality products for our customers. Your responsibilities will include: Supporting the printer. Working between manual and semi-automatic machines, including 4-colour stack presses and an 8-colour CI press Monitoring inks and consumables to ensure smooth operation. Identifying tasks to support the printer maximise uptime Entering production data into operating systems. Optimising changeovers while maintaining health, safety, and quality standards Mounting print plates as needed Following lean manufacturing practices, including SMED and 5S principles Maintaining a clean, safe work environment by addressing spills immediately and promoting safety Conducting shift handovers to ensure smooth production transitions, including briefing the next shift where needed. A Few Things About You: Ideally, you have experience in printing but this is not necessary as full training will be provided to the right person. High attention to detail and meticulous approach Able to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment Strong problem-solving skills Basic computer skills Excellent time-keeping and attendance Working Hours: 2-week rotating shift pattern. 1 week of days Monday to Thursday then 1 week of nights Tuesday to Friday.
