About the role
We seek a calm, organised Senior Assistant Teacher to support small KS3–KS4 classes in a specialist setting (ASC/SEMH/SLCN). You’ll lead in‑class support, run small‑group interventions, and coach TAs to deliver consistent routines and progress.
You will
* Adapt learning (model → guided → independent) with visuals and clear routines
* Support behaviour through regulation‑first, de‑escalation and restorative follow‑up
* Track small‑step progress; keep accurate behaviour/safeguarding notes
* Liaise with teachers/therapists/families; help onboard and mentor TAs
You bring
* Strong experience in specialist or inclusive settings (ASC/SEMH/SLCN)
* Confident, policy‑aligned behaviour practice and clear communication
* Desirable: Level 3 TA (or equivalent), Team‑Teach/PRICE, First Aid
* Right to work in the UK; Enhanced DBS (or willing to obtain)
