Veritas Education are currently working in partnership with a well-regarded secondary school in Keighley to recruit SEMH Support Assistants to join their on-site provision team from September. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide tailored support to students with SEMH needs, helping them engage with learning and overcome barriers.

* Support individual pupils and small groups both in the classroom and in dedicated intervention spaces.

* Work closely with teaching staff, the SENCO, and pastoral team to implement individual support plans.

* Promote a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment for all students.

What we're looking for:

1. Previous experience working with young people with SEMH needs or within a pastoral/behaviour support role is desirable.

2. A calm, patient, and empathetic approach to behaviour management.
