Fantastic 12‑month Office Assistant/PA role supporting a global Corporate Legal team in Paddington, London

Location: Paddington, Central London (office‑based)
Salary: £16.92 – £20.51 per hour DOE
Contract: 12‑month assignment with extension potential
Hours: 37.5 per week (full‑time) or 30 hours across 4 days

We are working confidentially on behalf of our client to recruit an organised, proactive Office Assistant/PA to support a busy global Corporate Legal team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a professional, friendly environment where your administrative expertise will play a vital role.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide personal and administrative support to the legal team
* General secretarial/administrative duties
* Support with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint
* Diary management and meeting scheduling
* Arrange travel and logistics
* Assist with legal operations administration
* Handle vendor invoices and legal spend tracking
* Cover departmental telephone lines
* Maintain holiday and sickness records
* Liaise with IT and log/track issues
* Provide compliance admin support
* Act as an information point for policies
* Maintain office document management systems
* Train new and existing staff on systems
* Book external training and manage subscriptions/invoices
* Provide cover for other office staff when needed
Skills & Experience:
* Highly organised with strong multitasking skills
* Confident working independently
* Excellent MS Office skills; knowledge of systems such as Ariba, Concur or AMEX beneficial
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Professional, customer‑focused manner
* Previous experience in a similar administrative role
* Experience supporting a small office environment
* Legal team experience is helpful but not essential
* GCSE Maths & English required; education beyond A‑level desirable
* First aider training is beneficial
