We are seeking a highly skilledProcurement Specialist to join our clients dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have had three years experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment, worked on NPI Projects and understand APQP.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with engineering, R&D, and project teams to understand NPI requirements
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, acting as first point of contact for programme activities
Manage RFQs and assist in evaluating supplier quotations based in cost, capability and lead time
Monitor supplier performance and follow up on delivery schedules, escalating potential issues early
Support sourcing and purchasing of materials and components for NPI projects in line with programme schedule
Develop suppliers to introduce and coach them through APQP processes
Requirements:
Minimum 3 years' experience in an Engineering or Manufacturing environment
Completed CIPS Level 4 Certification
Familiarity or exposure to APQP/PPAP/Supplier Quality Planning Principles
Understanding of NPI lifecycle, from prototype through to production release
Experience in supply chain management, sourcing processes and BOM structures
