The role
We seek a Data Executive to support our sales, customer teams and senior management to work in our busy Bideford head office. It's a critical role to the development of our business- ideal for an ambitious and detail oriented individual with an interest in highly accurate data preparation and analysis. There will be good career development prospects for the right applicant.
Reporting across both sales and customer service teams you will take responsibility for accurate entry of all surveyor information to the company quote and specification system to enable the production of accurate customer quotations and job instructions in addition to the production of key reports from the company databases, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual as required.
Office hours are 8am until 5pm for the full time 40 hour role but we can consider either full time or part time applications for a possible job share working a minimum of 20 hours per week subject to mutual agreement.
About you
The successful candidate will have:
* Fast and accurate data entry skills
* Excellent numeracy and literacy skills
* Good organisational skills
* Strong IT skills (including proficiency in Excel)
* Strong attention to detail and ability to work to high levels of accuracy
* Ability to work in a fast paced, deadlines driven environment and remain calm and kind under pressure
* Some understanding and experience of business and data analytics
* An interest in and some understanding of buildings and architecture
* An interest in the environment and being part of a company taking practical action on climate change
