PSR Solutions are working with an established client within the Civil Engineering Sector to recruit a Quantity Surveyor to Join their Commercial team on a permanent basis. This role with be based in the East Midlands Region and will involve work within Residential groundworks Projects. Quantity Surveyor Roles and Responsibilities Negotiate terms and conditions of subcontracts. Help to support process of payments for specialist subcontracts and key suppliers. Perform the closeout process, ensuring all contract terms are met and payments are verified. Work with the project team to evaluate the impact of budget changes and report back to senior management. Review and validate weekly cost monitors, comparing forecasted costs with actual costs with commercial team. Undertake site visits to administer the contract in line with project progress.Quantity Surveyor Requirements BSc in Quantity Surveying or similar commercial related course Highly computer literate including Microsoft Office and confident in managing and working with large data sets Must have experience working within Groundworks, ideally Residential Professional membership of appropriate body Good data interrogation skills Bid Knowledge Excellent legal/contractual knowledge Excellent communication and negotiation skills Valid driving licenceQuantity Surveyor Benefits Salary - £45,000 - £70,000 DOE Based in Mansfield Company Car or Car Allowance Company...
