Overview
Waverley Education Foundation Trust (WEF) operates Waverley School and Waverley Studio College, with over 1900 pupils on roll. WEF develops, brokers and delivers services that support learning, leadership and management, and improve outcomes for children and young people.
Waverley Studio College opened in September 2013 and caters for students at key stages 4 and 5, with up to 75 students in each cohort and provision for up to 300 students. In 2023, GCSE and Post 16 outcomes were excellent and in line with 2019. The college is currently full to capacity in Years 10 and 11 and specialises in Health, Creative Technology and Enterprise. The enrichment programme develops character and skills, and sixth form students undertake weekly work experience placements in the local community.
Our core values are Humanity, Equality, Aspiration and Respect, supporting our vision to create a learning community that strives for excellence. In September 2022, Ofsted judged the college to be Good; inspectors stated that pupils behave well in lessons and around school and get on well together.
