2. Your New RoleAs Accounts Administrator, you will join a small, collaborative finance team and play a key role in managing the day-to-day financial operations of the business. Reporting to a senior finance professional, you will take ownership of both sales and purchase ledger activity, ensuring accurate invoicing, effective credit control and timely supplier payments.Your responsibilities will include managing patient and customer accounts, monitoring outstanding balances, resolving queries and maintaining strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. You will also assist with reconciliations, reporting, cashflow monitoring and month-end activities, contributing to the overall financial health of the organisation.This is a fully onsite role, Monday to Friday, offering exposure to a varied and fast-paced accounts function within a professional services environment.
3. What You'll Need to SucceedTo be successful in this role, you will need:
1. At least 3 years’ experience in an accounts administrator, accounts assistant or credit control role
2. Proven experience managing sales and purchase ledgers
3. Strong knowledge of credit control processes and cashflow management
4. Confidence dealing with customers regarding payments and account queries
5. Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills
6. The ability to work independently while also contributing as part of a team
7. A professional and confidential approach when handling sensitive financial and client data
Experience within healthcare or professional services would be advantageous but is not essential.
