Join us as a Payroll Manager at Healix International

Location: Three Temple Quay, Temple Back East

Are you a skilled Payroll Manager seeking a unique opportunity to impact two dynamic organizations? We are hiring a dedicated professional to manage payroll operations for Abicare Services Ltd and Healix Health, with responsibilities divided equally between them.

This standalone role offers autonomy, variety, and the chance to shape payroll processes across two respected sectors in healthcare and care services.


What You’ll Bring

* CIPP qualification (or equivalent experience)
* Proven experience in a standalone payroll role
* Strong knowledge of UK payroll and pension regulations
* Experience with Sage 50 Payroll, rostering systems, and Excel (preferred)
* Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
* Strong communication and relationship-building abilities
* Proactive, independent problem-solving approach

About The Role


What You’ll Be Doing:

* Manage end-to-end payroll for multiple pay cycles across both organizations
* Ensure compliance with HMRC regulations and UK payroll legislation
* Collaborate with HR teams on starters, leavers, statutory payments, and deductions
* Handle RTI submissions, P45s, P60s, and year-end reporting
* Oversee pension auto-enrolment and liaise with pension providers
* Respond to payroll queries and manage ad hoc payments
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of payroll and pension legislation
* Support audits and ensure adherence to internal policies and procedures


Skills Needed


Required Criteria

* Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
* Experience with RTI submissions, P45s, P60s, and year-end reporting
* Knowledge of HMRC regulations and UK payroll legislation


Desired Criteria

* Experience with Sage 50 Payroll, rostering systems, and Excel
