Tempting Recruitment are working alongside our client, a Local Authority, who are looking to recruit an experienced Registered Manager to join their team based in Oxford JOB DETAILSPAY RATE: £25 - £30 WORK TYPE: Temporary WORK PATTERN: Full TimeLOCATION: Oxford JOB SUMMARYJOB DESCRIPTIONWe are seeking a dedicated Family Hub Practitioner to support the delivery of high-quality family hub services across the borough. You will work collaboratively with children, young people, families, and multi-agency partners to strengthen family resilience and improve outcomes across health, education, and wellbeing
* Service Delivery & Support:
o Operate as a Family Hub Practitioner across a variety of sites, supporting Family Hub sessions and outreach programmes.
o Provide front-of-house reception duties and administrative support to the service and external partners.
o Assist families in accessing digital and online support, advice, and information.
Family & Community Engagement:
o Work closely with children, young people, and their families to promote positive development and learning.
o Support the creation of strong community networks that encourage participation and inclusion.
o Ensure the child’s voice and lived experience are central to all support and intervention provided.
Partnership Working:
o Collaborate with a range of professionals including Health Visitors, Midwives, Public Health, Schools, Early Years Providers, and Youth Services.
o Support evidence-based interventions for identified vulnerable children and families.
Operational Excellence:
o Maintain accurate and consistent records in line with policy, ensuring systems are updated and data is effectively managed.
o Work flexibly, including some evenings and weekends, to meet the needs of the community.
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATEThe successful candidate will have the following skills and competencies:

o Experience in a customer-facing or community-based environment.
o Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to handle complex enquiries.
o Ability to manage high volumes of contacts efficiently and professionally.
o Strong organisational skills, able to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
o A team player, able to work collaboratively with colleagues and multi-agency partners.
o Committed to safeguarding, promoting the welfare of children, and adhering to health and safety standards.
o Must be fluent in English (as required under part 7 of the Immigration Act).
Desirable:
o Previous experience within customer-facing or front-of-house services.
o Experience working with children, young people, or families.
