As a Service Engineer, your expertise will be crucial in maintaining and optimising high-efficiency cooling systems that utilise natural refrigerants such as CO2 and hydrocarbons. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include servicing and maintaining existing systems, responding to reactive service calls, diagnosing and troubleshooting technical issues, and providing technical support and training to clients. Ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and safety standards will also be a key part of your role.
Candidates with proven experience in the refrigeration or HVAC industry, particularly those familiar with eco-friendly refrigerants, are highly sought after. Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills, the ability to read technical diagrams and schematics, and excellent communication skills are essential. Relevant certifications such as F-Gas are required, and familiarity with heat recovery systems and energy-efficient technologies will be advantageous.
You will enjoy a competitive hourly rate of £25.00 per hour, with access to overtime when available.
