You will be working with existing Managers, delivering core services across multiple products. ECD are a Middle Office department, managing complex and often high value transactions on behalf of; Bespoke Share Plan Dealing Corporate accounts Bereavement Service certificated transactions for individuals/third party introducers IPO Selling Shareholders / Secondary Placings Corporate Employee Benefit Trusts and Corporate accounts High Net Worth clients This is a client sensitive role. ECD interact daily with influential Corporate stakeholders. The successful candidate will be part of an inclusive team, and a key representative of ECD at internal and external stakeholder meetings. This role can be based flexibly out of our London or Worthing offices. Core Duties/Responsibilities Oversee the End to End flow of Share Plan / Bereavement & Certificated / IPO selling shareholder activities Lead a team of 6/7 colleagues, responsible for multiple products within the department. This will include Client Onboarding, Order calculation and placement, FX, Securities/Cash settlement, Asset Servicing, Reporting and Reconciliation of client accounts. Ensure compliance with Equiniti's policies, processes, procedures and guidelines and relevant regulatory/statutory requirements Represent ECD in planning meetings with Relationship Directors and external stakeholders for proposed activities Develop efficient solutions with Client appointed Third Party providers to ensure successful trade placement, order management and operational outcomes Be a representative of ECD across the EQ - highlighting industry changes develop appropriate working practices. Mentor colleagues; conduct quarterly appraisals Participate in the ECD workload when required A flexible approach to working hours when volumes dictate Key Skills, Capabilities and Attributes Ability to work with accuracy, on occasion under significant pressure, adhering to rolling intra-day deadlines; be an integral part of the team Demonstrate proven history of leadership skills Excellent time management and organisation skills Use SME to lead training & mentoring within ECD - providing rollout of system or regulatory changes An understanding of FCA rules - notably CASS & COBS Strong team ethic - with the ability to also work autonomously on specified tasks Demonstrate Control and Risk awareness to identify, escalate, and mitigate issues Initiative to deal effectively with unfamiliar situations Demonstrate assurance and consideration when presenting to prospective clients Solutionize to meet complex and bespoke high profile client requirements within Regulatory specification Conception of drive to understand and assess in house third party provided system capabilities, and associated API links Excellent communication skills (oral/written) Strong numeracy IT literate - intermediate Excel/Word/Outlook.
