The Role – Teacher of Religious Studies – Blackpool, Lancashire
We are seeking a dedicated Teacher of Religious Studies – Blackpool, Lancashire to start in May 2026 for a temporary long-term role with no set end date. This is a full-time position and may also include delivering some PSHE lessons.
As a Teacher of Religious Studies – Blackpool, Lancashire, you will:
1. Plan and deliver engaging Religious Studies lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
2. Inspire students to explore diverse beliefs, values and ethical issues.
3. Assess, monitor and support pupil progress in line with school policies.
4. Contribute to the wider life of the school, promoting respect and inclusion.
5. Provide occasional PSHE cover where required.
The successful Teacher of Religious Studies – Blackpool, Lancashire will hold QTS (or equivalent) and have experience teaching Religious Studies in a UK secondary setting. Strong classroom management skills and a passion for promoting thoughtful discussion are essential.
