With a strong pipeline of work ahead, were looking for an Electrical Compliance Engineer to join our team in Uddingston. Part of the wider Emtec Sauter Group, we support the UKs journey to Net Zero, delivering practical, high-quality energy projects from concept through to completion. The Role This is a hands-on role where youll help maintain and improve quality across our projects, from design through to delivery. Youll: Carry out site inspections, audits and quality reviews Monitor workmanship and support teams to improve standards Work closely with engineers and subcontractors to ensure compliance Support commissioning to make sure everything is delivered as designed Act as a key technical point of contact for teams and clients Act as NICEIC Qualified Supervisor, overseeing certification and audits Support engineers with safe isolation and best practice Manage CPD in line with NICEIC requirements Act as MCS Nominated Technical Person (NTP) Help drive continuous improvement in quality and processes What Youll Bring Experience in a compliance, quality or project engineering role Strong understanding of electrical standards, testing and inspection NICEIC Qualified Supervisor status NVQ Level 3 Electrical, 18th Edition & 2391 Testing & Inspection A solid grounding in health & safety and quality assurance A proactive, detail-focused approach with strong communication skills Renewables qualifications would be preferred but not essential What's In It for You Attractive Salary: Based on skills and experience Generous Holidays: 33 days of holiday (inclusive of public holidays), increasing with length of service.
