X4 Technology are partnered with a leading global commodities firm with trading hubs in London and Singapore to hire a Contract SAP Business Analyst to support the implementation of a bespoke trading solution built around SAP S/4HANA.
The solution centres on SAP-based logistics processes that manage deliveries linked to inventory, purchase and sales orders, with integration to an external pricing engine that generates valuation events for delivery-based billing plans.
This role will act as a functional consultant, supporting the configuration and integration of SAP logistics and trading processes. It requires strong SD/MM expertise, particularly in SAP billing and how it integrates with external pricing services, alongside experience working with ABAP interfaces.
Responsibilities for the Contract SAP Business Analyst (Commodities):
* Functional consulting for SAP S/4HANA configuration across SD/MM
* Defining business requirements for metals trading and logistics processes
* Supporting design and management of delivery processes in SAP S/4 HANA
* Integrating with external pricing engines
* Configuring and supporting SAP billing processes
* Working closely with technical teams on interface design and data flows
* Engaging with global stakeholders across trading, operations and technology teams
Requirements for the Contract SAP Business Analyst (Commodities):
* Strong experience in SAP SD/MM within S/4HANA environments
* Deep understanding of SAP billing processes
* Exposure to ABAP interfaces
* Experience within commodities and energy trading environments
This is a long-term, outside IR35 contract offering excellent flexibility - either fully remote or with minimal office time depending on preference - while playing a key role in a major transformation within a global commodities trading environment.
