Job Summary Tanyfron Primary Care is looking for a 6-7 session (negotiable) salaried GP to join our team, delivering high-quality primary care services to our patients, contributing to comprehensive healthcare in line with NHS Wales guidelines and practice policies. Main Duties of the Job To provide a wide range of general medical services to patients, developing and maintaining a positive doctor‑patient relationship. Work with a supportive, well‑resourced, multi‑disciplinary team that includes a Senior GP Partner, two salaried GPs, GP registrar, Advanced Clinical Practitioner, Paramedic Practitioner, five practice nurses, three HCAs, Pharmacist, two Pharmacy Technicians and administrative staff. Provide a combination of 10‑minute telephone calls and 15‑minute face‑to‑face consultations throughout the day. On‑call duties are shared fairly across the team, usually once a week or less, and home visits are minimal. Complete accurate and timely medical records, keep up to date with developments in general practice, and attend relevant training courses, meetings and clinical updates.
